King Lighting, Inc., a Manufacturers’
Representative Agency for commercial lighting products, has enjoyed a long time
presence in the Southern OH., Northern KY. and Southeastern IN. market for more
than 80 years.
History
The agency began on January 1, 1927, by Harry King, with
the signing of an agency contract with Day-Brite Lighting. The agency progressed
through three generations of the King family; and is presently owned by Michael
W. O’Ryan and his partners, Gary B. Harmeling & Gregory L. Jones. They
presently employ 22 people in two offices (Covington, KY. and Dayton, OH.). Their ongoing
partnerships with many
outstanding manufacturers of commercial, industrial and residential lighting along
with many outstanding controls companies continue to provide
unprecedented growth in the company’s long history.
