August 18, 1958 – February 9, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we let you know of the passing of Ron Randall. Ron worked in our Dayton office for the last 15 years doing lighting designs and AutoCAD work. He enjoyed his job, particularly the interaction with our customers. When Ron said “hello” or “good morning” to you, you knew he meant it. He also took great pride and enjoyment in music. He was a gifted musician and played in several local bands. The highlight of his musical career happened recently when his band got to open for George Thorogood in Dayton.

While Ron was dedicated to King Lighting and his music, his true passion was his family. He adored his children and the love of his life, Cristy. I don’t think he could have been happier than each time he was blessed with a new grandchild. He was a proud grandpa whenever he spoke about any of their exploits.

We will miss his antics, his laugh, his mannerisms. I will miss the conversations we had about family and life. He left an indelible mark on everyone he touched.

To quote a song “He’s in a better place up there, but he sure left a hole down here”.
